Maldah (Malda district) District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of Maldah (Malda district), a district of West Bengal has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in West Bengal. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Maldah District of West Bengal.

In 2011, Maldah had population of 3,988,845 of which male and female were 2,051,541 and 1,937,304 respectively. In 2001 census, Maldah had a population of 3,290,468 of which males were 1,689,406 and remaining 1,601,062 were females. Maldah District population constituted 4.37 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Maldah District was at 4.10 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 21.22 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Maldah District recorded increase of 24.78 percent to its population compared to 1991.

Maldah Child Population
