In 2011, Sheohar had population of 656,246 of which male and female were 346,673 and 309,573 respectively. In 2001 census, Sheohar had a population of 515,961 of which males were 273,680 and remaining 242,281 were females. Sheohar District population constituted 0.63 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Sheohar District was at 0.62 percent of Maharashtra population.
