An official Census 2011 detail of Ambedkar Nagar, a district of Uttar Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Uttar Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Ambedkar Nagar District of Uttar Pradesh.

In 2011, Ambedkar Nagar had population of 2,397,888 of which male and female were 1,212,410 and 1,185,478 respectively. In 2001 census, Ambedkar Nagar had a population of 2,026,876 of which males were 1,024,953 and remaining 1,001,923 were females.
