Tawang District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of Tawang, a district of Arunachal Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Arunachal Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh.

In 2011, Tawang had population of 49,977 of which male and female were 29,151 and 20,826 respectively. In 2001 census, Tawang had a population of 38,924 of which males were 21,846 and remaining 17,078 were females. Tawang District population constituted 3.61 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Tawang District was at 3.55 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 28.40 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Tawang District recorded increase of 37.60 percent to its population compared to 1991.

Tawang Child Population
