In 2011, Jalor had population of 1,828,730 of which male and female were 936,634 and 892,096 respectively. In 2001 census, Jalor had a population of 1,448,940 of which males were 737,880 and remaining 711,060 were females. Jalor District population constituted 2.67 percent of total Maharashtra population.
