Kancheepuram District - Population 2011-2023

An official Census 2011 detail of Kancheepuram, a district of Tamil Nadu has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Tamil Nadu. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Kancheepuram District of Tamil Nadu.

In 2011, Kancheepuram had population of 3,998,252 of which male and female were 2,012,958 and 1,985,294 respectively. In 2001 census, Kancheepuram had a population of 2,877,468 of which males were 1,457,242 and remaining 1,420,226 were females. Kancheepuram District population constituted 5.54 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Kancheepuram District was at 4.61 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 38.95 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Kancheepuram District recorded increase of 19.15 percent to its population compared to 1991.

Kancheepuram Child Population
