An official Census 2011 detail of Jalpaiguri (Jalpaiguri), a district of West Bengal has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in West Bengal. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal.

In 2011, Jalpaiguri had population of 3,872,846 of which male and female were 1,983,064 and 1,889,782 respectively. In 2001 census, Jalpaiguri had a population of 3,401,173 of which males were 1,751,145 and remaining 1,650,028 were females. Jalpaiguri District population constituted 4.24 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Jalpaiguri District was at 4.24 percent of Maharashtra population.
