Kurnool District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of Kurnool, a district of Andhra Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Andhra Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh.

In 2011, Kurnool had population of 4,053,463 of which male and female were 2,039,227 and 2,014,236 respectively. In 2001 census, Kurnool had a population of 3,529,494 of which males were 1,796,214 and remaining 1,733,280 were females. Kurnool District population constituted 4.79 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Kurnool District was at 4.63 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 14.85 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Kurnool District recorded increase of 18.72 percent to its population compared to 1991.

Kurnool Child Population
