An official Census 2011 detail of Jhabua, a district of Madhya Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Madhya Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Jhabua District of Madhya Pradesh.

In 2011, Jhabua had population of 1,025,048 of which male and female were 515,023 and 510,025 respectively. In 2001 census, Jhabua had a population of 784,286 of which males were 396,141 and remaining 388,145 were females. Jhabua District population constituted 1.41 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Jhabua District was at 1.30 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 30.70 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Jhabua District recorded increase of 21.20 percent to its population compared to 1991.
