An official Census 2011 detail of Sheopur, a district of Madhya Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Madhya Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Sheopur District of Madhya Pradesh.

In 2011, Sheopur had population of 687,861 of which male and female were 361,784 and 326,077 respectively. In 2001 census, Sheopur had a population of 559,495 of which males were 295,297 and remaining 264,198 were females.
