An official Census 2011 detail of Karimnagar, a district of Andhra Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Andhra Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Karimnagar District of Andhra Pradesh.

In 2011, Karimnagar had population of 3,776,269 of which male and female were 1,880,800 and 1,895,469 respectively. In 2001 census, Karimnagar had a population of 3,491,822 of which males were 1,747,968 and remaining 1,743,854 were females. Karimnagar District population constituted 4.46 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Karimnagar District was at 4.58 percent of Maharashtra population.
