- Male and female were 168,948 and 149,663 respectively.
- Population Growth for Samba District recorded in 2011 for the decade has remained 16.90 percent. Same figure for 1991-2001 decade was 29.01 percent.
- Samba Population constituted 2.54 percent of total Jammu and Kashmir Population.
- Sex Ratio of Samba District is now 886, while child sex ratio (0-6) is 787 per 1000 boys.
- Children below 0-6 age were 38,020 which forms 11.93 of total Samba District population.
- Average Literacy rate for Samba District is 82.48 percent, a change of from past figure of 0.00 percent. In India, literacy rate is counted only for those above 7 years of age. Child between 0-6 ages are exempted from this.
- Total literates in the Samba District increased to 231,434.
